Editor's note: Story based on initial reports. Subsequent reports indicated faulty machinery, not propane, caused the explosion.
Weston High School has been evacuated following a propane explosion, according to scanner reports.
According to the report, a 50-year-old man sustained second-degree burns to his hands and face, causing MedFlight to be alerted. However, the most recent information indicates that medics couldn't wait fo MedFlight and transported the victim, whose name is not yet known, to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
As of 2:15 p.m., the report did not indicate any students had been harmed in the explosion.
We will update information as it becomes available.
