Christmas Services in Weston

The following is a list of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services held in Weston. Unless otherwise noted, all services are on Christmas Eve. For more information, contact the church.

Weston United Methodist Church

  • 7:30 p.m.: Candlelight service

St. Peter's Episcopal Church

  • 3 p.m.: Service includes a short children's pageant, followed by Holy Communion. The Junior Choir will sing.
  • 5 p.m.: Musical prelude by Bala Brass Quintet. 
  • 5:30 p.m.: Christmas Homily and Holy Communion with full choir, and music by Bala Brass Quintet. The service will close with a candlelight singing of "Silent Night."
  • 10 p.m.: Music prelude by the St. Peter's Choir and soloists.
  • 10:30 p.m.: Christmas Homily and Holy Communion with full choir. The service will close with a candlelight singing of "Silent Night."

Westgate Church

  • 6:30 p.m.: Service with celebratory music and meditations from three young male parishioners. 

St. Julia Parish

At St. Julia Christmas Eve:

  • 4 p.m.: Liturgy in the parish, in the Church with pageant and in the Parish Center.
  • 6 p.m.: Liturgy in the church and Parish Center.
  • 8 p.m.: Liturgy in the church.

At St. Joseph in Lincoln Christmas Eve:

  • 4 p.m.: Liturgy in the church with pageant.
  • 6 p.m.: Liturgy in the church with choir; music begins at 5:30 p.m.

At St. Julia Christmas Day:

  • 9 a.m.: Services
  • 11:15 a.m.: Services

At St. Joseph Christmas Day:

  • 10:30 a.m.: Services

St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church

Christmas Eve

  • 6 p.m.: Vesperal liturgy, reception

Christmas Day

  • 8:30 a.m.: The Nativity of Our Lord, Orthros
  • 9:30 a.m.: Divine liturgy

Congregational Church of Weston, UCC

  • 4 p.m.: Moravian Love Feast. A service for children and families that includes traditional Christmas carols accompanied by a trombone trio, the distribution of sugar cookies and hot chocolate during worship, and the lighting of a Moravian star over the chancel as a child sings "Morning Star" and all hold their lit candles to the star. 
  • 8 p.m.: Candlelight service. The senior choir will sing carols and anthems. 

First Parish

  • 4 p.m.: Service in the sanctuary
  • 5:30 p.m.: Service in the sanctuary
  • 7:45 p.m.: Service in the sanctuary

First Baptist/Boston-West Korean Presbyterian (joint ceremony)

  • 7 p.m.: Christmas Eve service
