Five Things You Need to Know Today: Feb. 13

Jazz concert, Alice Peisch office hour, and more to start your week.

 

1. Jazz event: The Weston Tri-M Society will host the Middle School and High School Jazz Bands and the High School Jazz Choir at the fourth annual Jazz Under the Stars tonight at Weston Town Hall at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go to musiConnects, a Boston-based charity providing musical experiences and instruction to children in the Boston area.

2. Alice Peisch office hour: State Rep. Alice Peisch will hold an open office hour at Weston Town Hall today at 10:45 a.m. Constituents may visit Rep. Peisch at their convenience during the designated hour on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is necessary.

3. Selectmen: The Board of Selectmen will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at Weston Town Hall. Click here for the agenda.

4. Ugandan display: All this month, photographs from the Krimsky/Kee family’s trip to the Kasiisi Project schools in Uganda will be on display in the gallery of the Weston Public Library.

5. Outside: Today should be sunny, with a high near 35.
