Deer forum, talk on Afghanistan and more to know about today.
1. Deer forum: The Weston Conservation Commission will host the third and final event in its series of presentations about Weston’s deer population. The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Weston Community Center.
2. Meetings: Other meetings tonight include those of the Public Transportation Advisory Committee and the Finance Committee; click here for more information.
3. Afghanistan talk: The Weston Military History Group will host a talk called "Medical Service in Afghanistan," to be given by Timothy Haley, M.D., at the Weston Public Library at 7:30 p.m.
4. Library events: Other events at the library include a morning music for kids program, an afternoon memoir workshop and an evening knitting class.
5. Outside: Today should be partly sunny with a high near 49 and a chance of showers after 5 p.m.
