I personally lived in VT for 30 years and know what no water and power looks like. I feel that there should be a system that is in place for the medical needy and newly born and infants. So they are helped first.I was out for the entire week .
I had two skylights windows open they blew cold air throughout my house. I HAD A WEDDING at my house with fallen trees on the drive and no power. I had the flowers & cake brought Monday for the Tues wedding. . The food was taken organized to come from my daughter who lives CLoser to town. The sun shone the entire weddign time and it was beautiful. I did get prepared BEFORE THE STORM. I bought 2 car batteries and went to Radio Shack to get the adapters for wedding photos if it was inside,. I think everyone needs to be more independent in all was; and YES it would be nice if there was a preseternmined method to help us all. Ithink there shold be a registrered list of the elderly adn infants and mediacl needy. THankyou for hearing me out. It was nice and quiet. I was not happy eaither that my freezer circut breaker wne the week befoer and I lost all my food not once but also with the storm. Life is about what you make of it and percieve. I choose to try to be postive enev in the storm. Let's all come up with solutions instead of just cpomplaining. If everyone tok more responsibilty too for their self seervival it would be excellant.
I AM NOT IGNORING THE GREATLY NEEDED. I just want to give a balance ot the situation.
