The Massachusetts State Police Barracks in Framingham reported four people suffered minor injuries in a four-car accident Sunday afternoon on Route 128.

Three people were transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital while the other was transported to Beth Israel in Boston.

The Massachusetts State Police Barracks in Framingham is confirming a multi-car accident on Route 128 near River Road.

According to scanner reports, four cars are involved and injuries were reported.

State police said cruisers and ambulances are on the way to the scene.
