Question of the Day: The Best Advice Your Dad Ever Gave You
In honor of Father's Day, we're asking—what's the best advice you've received from your father?
Like many dads, my dad likes to give me advice on everything—from money to work to my personal life.
Something he used to say to me when I was younger was to quote Billy Crystal riffing on Fernando Lamas on "Saturday Night Live": "When you look good, you feel good. And baby, you look marvelous!"
It's something I try to repeat to myself when I'm getting dressed for something important, or even just getting dressed for the day.

Another great piece of advice was something he often said while I played softball or golf: "Keep your eye on the ball!" It's good as a literal piece of advice, but also just a good way to remind yourself to pay attention in life.
