The Regis College community mourns after a student died in a motorcycle crash yesterday.
Michael Kaplan, 20, of Braintree, a senior, died yesterday afternoon from injuries related to a motorcycle crash into a telephone pole on Chestnut Street, according to the Regis College website.
Kaplan was a nursing major on the Regis lacrosse team.
Sophomore Peter Leighton suffered serious injuries, according to a statement on the website.
