September 11 Commemorative Ceremony Today at Town Green

The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and is open to the public.

Weston officials will lead a ceremony commemorating the events of September 11, 2001 this morning at the Town Green.

“In commemoration of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, American flags will be placed on the Town Green by the Recreation Department; one flag for each life lost that day,” a post on the town’s website says.

“Anyone wishing to participate in placing these flags is invited to meet at the Town Green at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11th.”
