Around 2:45 p.m., scanner reports indicate that a single car crashed into a pole near the 430 block of South Avenue. No injuries are reported, however.
The Fire Department reports two poles are down in the street, with National Grid vehicles responding to the scene--along with the Police Department and emergency services.
