This Weekend: Local Shopping, Auction

The library has a book sale, the Josiah Smith Tavern has a handmade crafts sale and the WEEFC Auction is up for this weekend.

 

Looking for something to do this weekend? Look no further:

SATURDAY

  • The library's book and bake sale continues, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. From 3 to 5 p.m., there will be a "Bag o'Books" sale.
  • Boys and girls varsity cross-country race in Wrentham, at 9:30 a.m., at the Wrentham Developmental Center. This is part of the MSTCA Invitational. 
  • St. Demetrios is hosting a Pet Blessing Event, from 10 a.m. to noon. Pets of all kinds will be blessed and a professional photographer will be available for pictures.
  • The Weavers' Guild of Boston will continue its sale at the Josiah Smith Tavern from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring handmade crafts of all kinds.
  • The WEEFC Autumn Auction starts at 7 p.m., and will also celebrate WEEFC's 25th birthday. The auction will be held at Brandeis University in Waltham.

SUNDAY

  • The Weavers' Guild of Boston continues its sale, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Spellman Museum hosts a free talk about antique clocks, at 2 p.m.
  • The Weston Forest and Trails Association hosts a trail walk, starting at the Highland Meadows Meetinghouse at 2 p.m. Leashed dogs are welcome.
  • St. Peter's holds a memorial service honoring loved ones who have passed away. The service is open to all.
