Stand up for an end to deer hunting in our town forests this Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9:30 to 11am at the flower pot triangle on the corner of Church Street and Boston Post Road. Join Weston Deer Friends as we demonstrate against this unwanted use of our public land. If you can only come for part of the morning, you will be most welcome. If you can't stand with us but are able to drive by and honk, we'll love it. We have signs but home-made signs and props are great, if you are feeling creative.
Any and all support is much appreciated. Contact us at westondeerfriends@gmail.com or follow us @WestonDeer on Twitter or on Facebook at WestonDeerFriends.

Great turn-out for the Weston Deer Friends' demonstration today, 25 of us undeterred by light rain were at the flower pot triangle, holding all sorts of signs calling for an end to bow hunting of deer in our town forests.
The response was great, with many thumbs up and honks from cars going by, even a few trucks. My antlers with flashing lights were a big hit with my fellow protesters, the old man and I met lots of wonderful people, everybody had big fun and, oh yeah, this story is about to go national. Stay tuned.
