When/Where: Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon at Atkinson Pool/Fairbanks Community Center (40 Fairbank Rd, Sudbury)
The Buzz: Local fitness guru Bonnie Morrissey has raised more than $77,000 for ovarian cancer research so far. She has the opportunity to name a research office in her mother's honor when she reaches the $100,000 mark and bootcamp attendees can help her reach that goal.
Price: $25 pre-event; $30 day of event.
When/Where: Saturday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at The Happy Chocolatier (509 Nagog Park, Acton)
The Buzz: Do some good for a local charity and receive a sweet thank you gift. The Happy Chocolatier will debut Lizzy's Ice Cream in the store and will give a free ice cream cone to customers who bring in a grocery bag full of non-perishable food items for the Acton Food Bank.
