Weston Police Log: Aug. 25-27, Bike Accident, Store Break-In

The following information was supplied by the Weston Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

 

Monday, Aug. 27

10:10 a.m. – An animal complaint was received from 225 Winter St.

10:48 a.m. – A bike accident was reported on Maple Road at School Street. A driver pulled out and did not yield, and a biker got cut off. The biker landed on the hood of the car and broke her wrist.

1:20 p.m. – Larceny/forgery/fraud was reported at Liberty Mutual, 13 Riverside Road. The theft of two Olympus voice recorders from two different offices, valued $120 each, was reported. The case is under investigation.

 

Sunday, Aug. 26

7:47 p.m. – A noise complaint was received from 661 Wellesley St.

10:09 p.m. – A breaking and entering was reported at Trove, 542 Boston Post Road. (See related story on a man breaking into the store, then alerting police to the alarm going off.)

 

Saturday, Aug. 25

12:19 a.m. – A car was reported as suspicious at Weston High School, 444 Wellesley St.

10:20 a.m. – Erratic driving was reported at Bear Hill Road in Waltham and North Avenue in Weston.
