Weston Public Schools Cancelled on Monday

With the storm approaching, school has been cancelled.

Weston schools will be closed for the day on Monday, Oct. 29, due to the impending storm, school officials announced late this afternoon.

"Weston Public Schools will be closed tomorrow due to the impending storm and the prediction of dangerous winds. Stay Safe," was the message from Superintendent Cheryl Maloney which went out on Weston Grapevine around 4:30 p.m.

Hurricane Sandy is expected to be at its worse tomorrow afternoon, and Gov. Deval Patrick at a press conference this afternoon requested all schools, public and private, be closed Monday. Additionally, he's asking that private companies allow their employees to stay home.
