  • Dairy Joy
331 North Ave, Weston, MA 02493
Dairy Joy's reputation precedes it as a well-known landmark that has operated for years. It would be a mistake to thinkMore of this place as a Dairy Queen knock-off. The menu goes far beyond ice cream. There are organic choices for burgers and franks, sweet potato fries, mozzarella sticks, panini, grilled foods, seafood and frozen yogurts. Of particular note: fried clams and the famous java berry soft serve ice cream. Prices are not cheap, but judging by the long lines, something keeps bringing folks back.

  • Ye Olde Cottage Restaurant
403 Boston Post Rd, Weston, MA 02493
Not much has changed here since this little restaurant opened in 1952. The restaurant has the same counter with stoolsMore and seven wooden booths and even the same jukebox (except it no longer works). All basic breakfast favorites are served up, as are sandwiches and salads at lunchtime and the endless cup of coffee. Perennial favorites are the fries (curly, spicy, regular or sweet potato) and the beer-battered onion rings.
