4 Orchestras, 200 Musicians, 1 Exciting Concert
The Rivers Youth Orchestra Program Concert - November 18, 2012
The Rivers Youth Orchestra program will present a concert on Sunday, November 18, at 5:30 p.m. at Regis College’s Fine Arts Center in Weston. All four youth orchestras will perform in the concert: Preparatory Orchestra, conducted by Whitney Tandon; Youth Sinfornia, conducted by Susan Memoli; Philharmonia, conducted by Colleen MacDonald; and the Youth Symphony, conducted by Christopher Memoli. Nearly 200 students will perform pieces ranging from Baroque works by Vivaldi, to Romantic favorites by Rimsky-Korsakov and Sibelius.
Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door prior to the concert. There will be a reception following the performance.

Regis College is located in the heart of Waltham, covering 132 acres. Nearly 1,600 undergraduate and graduate students attend, taking courses at the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Nursing and Health Professions. Originally founded in 1927 by the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston as a women's-only university, Regis began accepting men in 2007.
