Guess Who's Coming to Town?

Time to bundle up the kids and tell them to watch out and not to shout, pout or cry, because Santa Claus is coming to town—all over town, in fact.

Tonight and tomorrow night, Santa will travel by firetruck to seven stops in Weston between the approximate hours of 6-8 p.m., starting tonight at Sears and Laurel Road and ending at Jericho Road.

Sponsored by the Weston Fire Department, Santa’s visits are a longstanding tradition in Weston, where Fire Captain Paul Nicholas said he's been coming for the same two nights, weather pending, for some 25 years.

At each stop, Santa will stop and sit with or talk to each child, depending on the child's preference, handing out candy canes and holiday cheer along the way.

"Some kids even give him their lists," said Nicholas. "They really like seeing him pull up on the truck."

According to the town website, locations and approximate times for Santa’s visits are:

Wednesday, Dec. 14:

1.            6:00 – 6:10 p.m.,  Sears and Laurel Road

2.            6:15 – 6:30 p.m.,   Cherrybrook Road at Ballfield

3.            6:35 – 6:50 p.m.,   Westland Road at Circle Drive

4.            6:55 – 7:10 p.m.,   Fairview and Montvale Roads

5.            7:15 – 7:25 p.m.,   Kings Grant at Plymouth Roads

6.            7:30 – 7:45 p.m.,   Town Hall at Front Door

7.            7:50 – 8:05 p.m.,   Jericho Road by #109

Thursday, Dec. 15:

1.            6:00 – 6:20 p.m.,   Library Parking Lot – School Street

2.            6:25 – 6:35 p.m.,   Doublet Hill and Cart Path Roads

3.            6:40 – 6:55 p.m.,   Ridgeway and Chiltern Roads

4.            7:00 – 7:10 p.m.,   Fire Station #2 – 390 South Avenue
