League of Women Voters Seeking Civics Bee Contestants
The Annual Civics Bee pits teams from Wayland, Weston and Sudbury against one another in a trivia battle for bragging rights glory.
It's another year of the League of Women Voters Civics Bee and that means Weston has another year to claim the trophy and match Sudbury in the wins column.
Last year, Sudbury eked out a victory over second place Wayland, making Sudbury the first team to win the Civics Bee trophy more than once. The standings are as follows: Sudbury has two Bee victories, while Weston and Wayland each have one.
The theme of the Fifth Annual Civics Bee is the history of the three towns, which pays homage to the milestones of Weston celebrating its 300th anniversary and Wayland its 375th anniversary this year, while Sudbury will celebrate its 375th in 2014.

Civics Bee teams are comprised of middle and high school students as well as adults from the three towns. The LWV is seeking contestants and is particularly interested in seeing women volunteer to compete. Anyone interested can contact Mary Antes at 508-358-2571.
The Civics Bee will take place Sunday, March 3, at 2 p.m. at the Weston Community Center. It's free and open to the public.
