There is a possibility for severe storms with damaging winds and hail across southern New England on Tuesday afternoon and evening, including in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and southern New Hampshire.

The National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center said at 1 p.m. that storms “should develop across New England over the next few hours” and there is a 60 percent chance that severe thunderstorm watches or warnings may be issued.

The development of “supercells” will be possible on Tuesday “as instability increases over the next few hours,” the Storm Prediction Center said.

The supercells could produce wind damage and hail, the center said.

Meanwhile it is Wednesday afternoon and a Tuesday weather forecast is still up. Come on Patch, at least pretend you still care and try and keep current.

It may be ther day after the storm, but any prediction that the NWA says reguarding hail, flooding and "severe" wind damage dosent really happen, i have never once in attleboro, seen a huge flood.
