Weekend Happenings: Haunted Houses, Trunk-or-Treat and Mystery Dinner
From dinner with vampires to trick-or-treating in the trunks of cars ... there's a little something haunted going on everywhere this weekend.
When/Where: Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Temple Shir Tikva, 141 Boston Post Road, Wayland.
Why Go: Join the Wayland Public Schools Foundation for an adult Halloween party for a good cause. Wear a costume or Wayland black and orange and dance the night away as a DJ provides the music. Drinks and dessert will be provided.

When/Where: Sunday at 3 p.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 166 Central St., Acton.
Why Go: This tour begins at the Mt. Hope Cemetery Chapel. You will be guided by Bill Klauer, former Historical Society President and a current Cemetery Commissioner. Tour participants will learn the final resting places of Acton's Civil War veterans.

When/Where: Saturday at 3 p.m., at First Baptist Church Sudbury, 162 Landham Road, Sudbury.
Why Go: It's a safe, fun environment where kids can dress up and collect treats as they walk from car to car.

Haunted House Fundraiser for Weston High Class of 2014
When/Where: Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Woodland Elementary School, 10 Alphabet Lane, Weston.
Why Go: A haunted tour and Halloween crafts are sure to put you in the Halloween spirit. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

1950s Vampire Murder Mystery Dinner
When/Where: Sunday at 5 p.m. at the Concord Masonic Hall, 58 Monument Square, Concord.
Why Go: Journey back to 1955 and witness the murder and ensuing mayhem as part of a live radio audience. Theatre with a Twist productions will take care of the entertainment while you enjoy your dinner and show.
