Weekend Happenings: Tree Trimming, Winter Gear Sale, Pet Photos with Santa and More
There's plenty of holiday-themed and other entertainment taking place this weekend.
Trim-A-Tree
When/Where: Saturday, 4 p.m. at Congregational Church of Weston (130 Newton Street, Weston)
The Buzz: Looking to spread a little holiday glitter on a rug that you don't have to clean. This annual event features a potluck meal, ornament making and, of course, tree trimming.

When/Where: Saturday, 7:30 p.m. at Wayland High School (264 Old Connecticut Path, Wayland)
The Buzz: This popular concert features stellar collage a cappella groups from throughout the region as well as short performances by WHS a cappella groups.
Price: 7:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.
Annual Ski/Winter Gear Sale at Wayland High
When/Where: Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Wayland High School (264 Old Connecticut Path, Wayland)
The Buzz: This is a great chance to clear out your unsued winter gear and support the WHS nordic/alpine ski teams at the same time. Stop by the WHS cafeteria from 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m. to have your equipment priced and return between 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m. to collect you unsold equipment and percentage of sales.

'A Bridge to Hope' Boutique
When/Where: Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at 46 Anselm Road, Sudbury.
The Buzz: Unique new and slightly used gifts will be on sale and the proceeds will support Domestic Violence Services Network Inc.’s (DVSN) Lawyer for a Day Program. Vintage and ethnic gifts will give a the sale an eclectic twist.
Price: Free
When/Where: Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at 164 Great Road
The Buzz: The holidays aren't complete until you've embarrassed your dog with a photo with Santa (Paws). Stop by Saturday for a photo, cider, treats and a chance to support the Chelmsford Dog Association.
