Weston Students Perform at 'Rock the Bike'

Two Weston teens took part in a three-night benefit concert for Bikes Not Bombs.

Lucy and Evan Rubin of Weston joined more than 100 other students from across the state Jan. 18-20 for a three-night concert benefitting Bikes Not Bombs.

The concert was presented by Needham nonprofit Plugged In, a rock and program seeking to "[empower] youth agest 8-18 to create positive change in the world," according to a press release.

Plugged In will hold a housewarming at its new location at 20 Freeman Place in Needham on Sunday, Feb. 10 from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. The event is for anyone interested in becoming part of the program and will give guests the opportunity to meet students, volunteers and board members who are already involved.
