The Weston Transfer station will reopen on Aug. 20, according to a Weston Public Works announcement.
It will reopen at 7 a.m.
The reopening comes after the bridge work was accelerated, according to the notice. The reparris are mostly complete.
"We will resume accepting household solid waste, recyclables, bulky items (furniture, carpeting, appliances or wood scrap), metals, propane tanks, televisions, computer monitors and yard waste. We thank you for your patience and cooperation during the Transfer Station’s temporary closure and apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered during this important project," the statement said.
