Live Wolf Program

There is no need any more to be afraid of the Big Bad Wolf.  Mr. Michael LeBlanc from Gardner, Mass. will bring a live wolf to the Spellman Museum of Stamps & Postal History on the campus of Regis College in Weston on Saturday, March 10 to clear up many myths about this misunderstood animal.  His one-hour programs at 1:00 and 3:00 will explain about the life of a wolf, one of America’s most endangered species. LeBlanc believes that through education he can help clarify the many misconceptions people have about this animal and also share his work at his own compound and with research facilities and zoos and he will also highlight his travels in the wild.

The program will cover a wolf’s eating habits both in the wild and in captivity and wolf pack structures.  LeBlanc will bring with him displays of furs, skulls and other wolf related items.  There will also be a question and answer period and the program is designed to educate and entertain both children and adults.

Regular admission will be charged with the Museum’s galleries, gift shop and US Post Office opening at noon. There will be children activities in the main gallery prior to the show.  Advanced reservations are highly suggested but not required. This can be done by email at info@spellman.org or calling 781-768-8367.  More info about Mr. LeBlanc and his program can be found at www.wolftalk.net.
