Interested in making your own voice overs for radio, TV, and movies? Have you always wanted to create the next hot animation or craft your own voice ad for a commercial? This fun and interactive fast-paced workshop will introduce you to the voice-over business and put you to work on a microphone reading and creating copy, learning about breathing techniques, enunciation, pronunciation, pacing, copy interpretation, character development, and different voice over styles. Interactive group discussions as well as individual reading and feedback will be offered as we explore studio etiquette, how to handle your first recording session, learning techniques for offering different "spins" and interpretations on your performances, and discuss how to locate scripts.
Be prepared to have a blast! Final session will take place at lau lapides studio recording facilities in Wellesley to record your own professional MP3 to keep!
