Bites Nearby: Mexican Food in Wayland’s Cochituate Area

This week's pick: Mexican in Wayland.

Looking for somewhere to eat? You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Weston Patch picks a great restaurant in the area that's worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:

 – It’s unassuming from the outside, tucked neatly into a shopping center on East Plain Street, but you feel fully transported to a Mexican fiesta once inside. Chef Carlos Mendez has put together a menu that features Mexican favorites like flautas, enchiladas and fajitas.  The made-tableside guacamole (offered in mild, medium or hot varieties) is fresh and flavorful and the lengthy list of tequilas will satisfy even the most discriminating tequila taster.

15 E. Plain Street, Wayland. 508-651-3300.
