A quick drive from Weston, just over the border in Wayland, is a gift shop that could be just the spot to discover a gift for that "hard to buy for" person this holiday season.
The Wayland Depot is open for business and stocks pleny of unique gifts with the added bonus of funding a good cause with each purchase.
The Wayland Depot has been around for more than 30 years as a charitable organization that strives to "help support women in their homes who make handcrafts and to donate the proceeds of the sale of those handcrafts to charity," according to the shop's mission statement.
The gift store stocks everything from handcrafted scarves and jewelry to bowls and home decor.
Local jeweler, Christine Faucher of Sudbury, is currently displaying earrings for teens and adults that feature glass beads, Swarovski crystal, and sterling silver ear wires.
