Peaceful Beginnings Preschool opens in Wayland!

Wayland, MA – Owned and Operated by 15-year preschool Director and Lead Teacher, Kathleen Sawyer, Wayland's Peaceful Beginnings Preschool will open its doors to children aged 1.9 - 3 years of age this month.  Held in newly designed space at Peace Lutheran Church's Community Place at 107 Concord Road (Rte 126) in Wayland,  Director, Kathleen Sawyer, explains "Peaceful Beginnings is a socialization program where children grow and learn through play. Our goal is to provide an age appropriate curriculum that meets individual needs and promotes growth, encourages individuality, and fosters self-esteem.  This is achieved by educating the whole child while placing a strong focus on all development areas including social, emotional, physical and intellectual."  

As the former Director and Lead Teacher of Peace Lutheran Church's Little Dove Early Childhood Center, Kathleen Sawyer, a Sudbury native, has taught hundreds of Wayland, Weston and Sudbury children over the past 15 years.  After a very successful 15-year run, Little Dove closed this past May giving Kathleen the opportunity to open Peaceful Beginnings as owner/operator.  

Peaceful Beginnings meets on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 am -12:30 pm.  The program will follow the Wayland school calendar and starts with an Open House for new and prospective students on Monday, September 9th from 9:00 am - 10:30 am.  The first day of class will be Wednesday, September 11th.  Enrollment for this school year is still open.

Interested parents and their children are also welcome to visit the classroom on any Monday, Wednesday or Thursday during the month of September between 9:30 am - 10:30 pm.  Please contact the Director to schedule an appointment.
