Five Things You Need to Know Today: Dec. 16
Movie for teens, swim meets, and helping make a senior citizen happy.
1. Help Weston seniors celebrate birthdays: Bring some birthday joy to a Weston senior by joining an online network of volunteers who use the Council on Aging's Weston Elders Life Links (WELL) network to offer small celebrations to Weston seniors on their birthdays. Contact COA volunteer coodinator Leila Hewitt at 781-786-6280 for more information.
2. School concert: Winter school concerts continue with Woodland School's winter concert, to be held in the school gymnasium at 8:45 a.m.
3. Movie for teens: Middle and high school teens are invited to drop in to the Weston Library to watch on the big screen in the Community Room. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

4. Swim meets: Both Weston boys' and girls' swim teams have meets today. The boys will travel to Boston Latin, while the girls will host non-league opponent Ashland. Both meets will begin at 4 p.m. Click to see photos of the Tide in their successful season opener against Waltham.
