5 Things: Author Signing, Police Station Update and UNICEF's Birthday

Just a few things you need to know on Dec. 11, 2012, in Weston.

1. Local Author Book Signing. Joe Ferguson, a Weston author and sculptor, will be at the Weston Public Library today to sign copies of his book, "The Evolving Image."

2. Brisk Walking Group. It's Tuesday and that means the Brisk Walking Group will meet promptly at 8:30 a.m. in front of Ye Olde Cottage Restaurant. Anyone is welcome.

3. New Police Station. The Police Station Study Committee is scheduled to meet tonight at 6:30 p.m.
