5 Things: Canceled Tree Meeting, Resident Honored and the End of Prohibition

Today is the 79th anniversary of the day speakeasies lost their usefulness.

1. Meeting Canceled. The Tree Advisory Group Meeting scheduled for today has been canceled.

2. Weston Resident Honored. We told you about this honor about a week ago, but tonight is the ceremony during which Weston resident Jonathan Lavine will be honored by the Anti-Defamation League in Boston.
