2. Weston Resident Honored. We told you about this honor about a week ago, but tonight is the ceremony during which Weston resident Jonathan Lavine will be honored by the Anti-Defamation League in Boston.

3. Weston Media Center Schedule. The programming schedule for Dec. 2-16, 2012 is now available.

4. Did You See This? The Weston Fire Department has issued some tips for heating your home safely this winter. As the temps drop throughout the day, take a moment to read these tips.

5. Raise a Glass. Today markes the 79th anniversary of the end of Prohibition. The 21st Amendment was ratified by enough states on Dec. 5, 1933, to repeal the 18th Amendment and end 13 years of prohibition.
