5 Things: 'Children of Eden,' Representative Office Hours and More

A few things you need to know on Feb. 15, 2013, in Weston.

1. 'Children of Eden' Closing Soon. The Wellesley Players' production of "Children of Eden" was disrupted by last weekend's blizzard. But the show is on this weekend and features many local actors in the cast. Check out details of the remaining couple of shows.

2. Rep. Peisch Office Hours. Rep. Alice Peisch (D-Wellesley) will hold her monthly office hours today in Weston and Wayland. She'll be at Weston Town Hall from 9:15 a.m.-10:15 a.m. and at Wayland Public Library from 1 p.m.-1:30 p.m.

3. Considering a Run for Town Office? The Annual Caucus is coming up on March 11. If you're interested in running, take a look at the relevant info on the Town of Weston website.

4. Presidents Day Reminder. Town offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 18 in recognition of Presidents Day. If you have business to conduct, better get to it today or wait until Tuesday.

5. Don't Turn into a Pumpkin... On this date in 1958, Disney's animated film "Cinderella" opened. The film garnered an Oscar nomination for the song "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo,” and was one of the highest grossing films of 1950, according to History.com.
