5 Things: Historic A Musical Opens, Parent/Child Singalong and Meeting Tonight

A few things you need to know on Feb. 21, 2013, in Weston.

1. 'Into the Woods.' The Sondheim musical opens tonight at the Rivers School Conservatory. The show runs only tonight and tomorrow, so tickets will be at a premium.

2. Puppet Show. The Sudbury Valley Trustees are offering a puppet show titled, "Turtle's New Home, A Story about Friends and a Wetland Habitat," today at Wolbach Farm. Registration is required, but the program isn't until 1 p.m., so there's time to register.

3. Library Singalong. It's the third Thursday of the month and that means Jeannie Mack will be at the Weston Public Library for a singalong for parents and their children ages 6 months to 4 years.

5. Vroom, vroom. On this date in 1948, NASCAR was founded. Don't let that need for speed get you into trouble today.
