5 Things: Musical Preschoolers, Author Visit and Field School Meeting

A few things to keep in mind on Dec. 13, 2012, in Weston.

1. Preschool Concert. Weston Roxbury Preschool is holding a concert. What could be cuter or more likely to put you in the holiday spirit than a preschool concert? It's open to the public.

2. Author Visit. Author Joan Wickersham will be at the Weston Public Library today to talk about and sign copies of her new book of short stories, "The News from Spain."

3. EPOCH Performance. Musician Paul Ashley will perform at EPOCH Senior Healthcare of Weston today at 1:45 p.m.

4. Field School Meeting. There's a Field School Project Update meeting for the community today at 9 a.m. at the Case House.

5. Captured. It's been nine years since U.S. troops discovered dictator Saddam Hussein hiding in a hole outside Tikrit, Iraq. Hussein went into hiding soon after the Americna invasion earlier that year. He was later tried and executed by hanging.
