5 Things: One Meeting Canceled, Brisk Walking and Planning Ahead

It's a short work week, so think ahead when it comes to your Weston library and Weston government needs.

1. Meeting Canceled. Today's Police Station Study Committee meeting has been canceled. Several other meetings, Board of Health, Conservation Commission and others, are still on.

2. Voting is On! You have until Wednesday at noon to have your say in who will win our Facebook Cover Photo Contest. Check out the six entries and vote for your favorite by leaving a comment for us.

3. Plan Ahead. The Weston Town Hall and Weston Public Library will be closing early on Wednesday (at 1 p.m.) and will be closed Thursday. The library will be open Friday, but town offices will remain closed.

4. Brisk Walking Group. It's Tuesday and that means the Brisk Walking Group will meet at 8:30 a.m. in front of Ye Olde Cottage Restaurant for a 3-mile walk.

5. Newsletters. If you aren't getting the Weston Patch newsletter in your inbox each morning, you're missing out on a simple way to see the latest headlines. Sign up today for daily, weekly or breaking newsletters (or all three!).

Editor's Note: We incorrectly listed the library as closed on Friday. It will be open, and the information has been corrected above.
