5 Things: Police Station Project Update, Geoarchaeology, One Fund Donations

A few things you need to know on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, in Weston.

1. Colloquium Series at Weston Observatory. The series continues tonight with "Sleuthing In Central Park: Geoarchaeology And Geophysics At Seneca Village." These discussions are free and open to the public, but reservations are REQUIRED. Call (617) 552-8300 to see whether seats remain for tonight's session.

2. Instrument Drive Continues. The Rivers School will continue collecting musical instruments through the end of the week. Your donated instrument will go to help a child who cannot afford an instrument.

3.  Police Station Project Update. Members of the Board of Selectmen and the Police Station Study Committee will be at the Weston Public Library tonight for a public information session about the proposed new police station. The meeting is scheduled to take place from 7 p.m.-8:45 p.m.

4. ICYMI. The Weston Dunkin' Donuts is collecting donations for One Fund, the fund established to assist marathon bombing victims. You can donate when you pick up your coffee on the way to the interstate.
