5 Things: School Is In Session, Meetings Today, Snow Gallery and More

A few things you need to know on Feb. 11, 2013, in Weston.

1. Weston Schools are Open. After canceling classes Friday ahead of the snowstorm, Superintendent Cheryl Maloney has elected to open Weston schools today. New and inexperienced drivers are asked to NOT drive today and parents are asked to stay with their kids at the bus stops.

2. Weston Media Schedules. The programming schedules for Weston Media are now available on the Weston Patch Event Calendar.

3. Meetings Today. The School Committee, Tercentennial Steering Committee, Weston Affordable Housing Trust and Community Preservation Committee all meet today. Check out the Town of Weston calendar for details.

4. Snow Gallery. There are some really great images in the Weston Blizzard Gallery (we're going to call it that even if it isn't an official blizzard). You should definitely check them out and add to them if you have blizzard pics of your own.

5. Post on Patch. We're always interested in seeing your announcements and events on Weston Patch, and it's quick and easy to add them to the site yourself. Talk about instant gratification.
