5 Things: STM Recap, Meetings, and a Talk about Internet Safety

There's much going on in Weston today.

1. Internet Safety and Kids. Tony Loftis, founder of Find Your Missing Kid, will join Victoria Kempf at the Weston Library to talk about Internet safety and your kids. The talk will take place from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

2. Meetings Today. The Board of Selectmen, Police Station Study Committee and a few other groups meet today. Check out the town's calendar for the full details.

3. Special Town Meeting Recap. Couldn't make it to last night's Special Town Meeting? No problem. We'll post our recap at 6 a.m. that will tell you what happened on each article in the Warrant.

4. Newsletters. If you aren't getting the Weston Patch newsletter in your inbox each morning, you're missing out on a simple way to see the latest headlines. Sign up today for daily, weekly or breaking newsletters (or all three!).

5. Enough Thanksgiving Already? In case you aren't turkey-ed out at this point, we bring you today's historical tidbit. On this date in 1941, President Franklin D. Roosevelt established the modern Thanksgiving holiday.
