UPDATE: Alumni Basketball Players Needed for First Official Weston300 Event
The town is gearing up for the 300th anniversary celebration.
Weston300 submitted the announcement below. It has been updated with a revised date:
In commemoration of our 300th birthday, there are many events planned for this year-long celebration. The first official event will be the Weston High School Girls and Boys Alumni Basketball Game! Former WHS players will compete against the current High School teams. In cooperation with the Weston High School Athletic Department, the game will take place on Jan. 5 at 5 p.m. in the Weston High School gymnasium. Admission is free. Those interested in signing up to play should contact Mary Duffey at mlduffey@comcast.net. Come join the fun and cheer on the WHS Alumni and the current WHS team players! Weston 300 merchandise will also be available for sale at the game.
