If you are looking to attend church services today for Christmas Eve, there are plenty of opportunities in town. And if you know of other local Christmas Eve services, please add them to the comments.

Moravian Love Feast

Congregational Church of Weston, UCC, 130 Newton St., 4 p.m.

All are welcome to this join in this beloved childhood tradition shared by one a senior member, a unique service designed especially for children. The service closes with all rising with lit beeswax candles and singing “Morning Star” as a large Moravian star is illuminated.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Services

First Parish Church, 349 Boston Post Rd., 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.

The First Parish Church in will hold three Christmas Eve candlelight services of lessons and carols at the times listed above. All are welcome to attend.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Weston United Methodist Church, 377 North Ave., 7:30 p.m.

A Christmas Eve candlelight service will be held at the Weston United Methodist Church. All are welcome to attend.

Festival of Lessons and Carols

Congregational Church of Weston, UCC, 130 Newton St., 8 p.m.

All are welcome to pause from the hustle and bustle and join in this restorative Christmas Eve gathering for the lighting of advent sconces and communion table candles, the reading of scripture, the sharing of the lessons of the Christmas story, and the singing of anthems and carols. The service will close with “Silent Night” by candlelight.

Christmas Eve Masses

St. Julia Church, 374 Boston Post Rd., 4-9:30 p.m.

Liturgies at the Parish Center will begin at 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., with another at Town Hall at 4:15 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
