Evening Commute Could Get Messy

The National Weather Service is predicting one to two inches of snow tonight.

The light snowfall that began this afternoon could dust the area in one to two inches of snow by this evening, says the National Weather Service.

In a special statement, the NWS advised commuters that road conditions could be slippery and that commuters should plan on extra travel time.

Department of Public Works crews were out all afternoon sanding the streets as police and fire worked to respond to some car accidents. Wellesley Street in particular was reported to be "very slick."
