Five Things You Need to Know Today: Dec. 8

Middle school concert, author presentation at Woodland, and do you want to win $100,000 for your schools?

1. Middle School concert: Next up in the series of five winter concerts by the Friends of Weston Music is the Middle School Band Concert, which takes place at 7:30 p.m. at the Weston High School auditorium.

2. Author presentation at Woodland: Woodland School parents are invited to attend a , who has written and/or illustrated more than 10 children's books. Ms. Lin will give presentations at 8:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. in the school's library.

3. Government: The Conservation Commission will meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Weston Community Center.
