Martin Luther King Jr. Day breakfast, high school games and more to start your week in Weston.
1. What's open, closed: All schools are closed today, as are banks, libraries, post offices and town offices.
2. Annual MLK Day breakfast: The Interfaith Citizens Advocating Racial Equality (ICARE) holds its at 8:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church with Superintendent of Weston Schools Cheryl Maloney this year's featured speaker. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for seniors and children age 12 and under.
3. High school games: Sports today include girls' junior varsity basketball vs. Wayland High School, 2:30 p.m.; girls' varsity basketball vs. Wayland High School, 4 p.m.; boys' junior varsity basketball at Wayland High School, 264 Old Connecticut Path, Wayland, 2:30 p.m., boys' varsity basketball at Wayland High School, 4 p.m.; and boys' varsity ice hockey at Dover-Sherborn Regional High School, West Suburban Arena, 35 Winsor Ave., Natick, 7:40 p.m.
