Five Things You Need to Know Today: Feb. 8

Annual chorus concert, library events, and a lot of trash talk for your mid-week.

1. Trash talk: The Weston Climate Group will host a presentation and discussion about trash, including where it comes from and what really happens to it when we think it goes away. The presentation will be held at 7 p.m. at the Weston Public Library and will include a short film, The Story of Stuff, which describes the impacts and implications of our production and consumption patterns. 2. Annual chorus concert at Regis: The Weston High School Chorus and Community Chorus will join for their annual chorus concert at the Regis College Fine Arts Center, presenting Vivaldi's "Gloria" at 8 p.m. The event is free; those attending are asked to park at Weston High School starting at 7 p.m. and take a complimentary shuttle to Regis.

3. New committee meets: The newly formed will have its first meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at Weston Town Hall.
