Five Things You Need to Know Today: Oct. 17

The School Committee meets tonight, and four other things for your Monday in Weston.

  1. In weather today, it looks like the gorgeous fall weather from the weekend continues. Today's supposed to be sunny, with a high of 67.
  2. The meets today at the library at 2:45 p.m. A scientist from the will present "Track Earthquakes Around New England and See How Seismic Waves Travel!" to interested fourth and fifth graders. 
  3. Sports today include field hockey and golf. . 
  4. The at 7 p.m. at Case House. Agenda items include WEEFC proposals and some budget and enrollment discussions.
  5. State Rep. Alice Peisch, whose district includes Weston, will hold an at 10:45 a.m. at Town Hall. No appointment is necessary.
