Where/When: The Rivers School, Benson Gymnasium, 333 Winter St., Weston, Friday, June 3, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Why Go: The fashion show is sponsored by National Jean Co. and will be followed by dinner in Hutton Hall. Proceeds from the fashion show will go to Uniting Against Lung Cancer, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization committed to funding innovative research into the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.

Pricing: Tickets $10 students, $15 adults/faculty. VIP tickets $25.

Where/When: The Acton Jazz Cafe, 452 Great Road, Acton, Friday, June 3, 9 to 11:30 p.m.

Why Go: The Ken Clark Organ Trio performs at the Acton Jazz Cafe. An appetizer and dinner menu is available.

Pricing: Tickets are $12 at the door or $10 online.

Where/When: Tavernside Park, 394 Boston Post Road, Weston, Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why Go: Kids and parents are invited to meet at Tavernside park to kickoff the Weston Community Children's Association's effort to "go green!"  You will have an opportunity to do some planting, and to help get Tavernside ready for the summer season.

Pricing: Free & open to all

Where/When: Wayland Free Public Library, 5 Concord Road, Wayland, Saturday, June 4, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Why Go: Senior Stewardship Manager Joseph Cornish will give a talk on Historic New England and its Stewardship Program.  This talk is presented by the Wayland Historical Commission. 

Pricing: Free & open to the public

Where/When: Community United Methodist Church, 5 Damon St, Wayland, Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m.

Why Go: Everyone is invited to the Community United Methodist Church for a yard sale and a strawberry fair.  The church's youth group will also hold a car wash from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
