Why Go: Busa presents beer from the seventh oldest brewing beer company in the United States. It began in Chippewa Falls in 1867 with founder Jacob Leinenkugel, and is now run by his direct descendants. Visit the store and try a sample.

Where/When: Memorial Pool, Country Elementary School, 2 Alphabet Lane, Weston, Saturday, July 2, 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: The Memorial Pool is open to Weston residents and their guests. Out-of-town guests must be accompanied by a Weston resident or a pool badgeholder.
Pricing: Free with a Weston recreation badge, or proof of Weston residency & $5 fee for adults, children under 2, free; non-residents - $10
Where/When: The Acton Jazz Cafe, 452 Great Road, Acton, Sunday, July 3, 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Why Go: Visit the Acton Jazz Cafe for the Starlight Jazz Jam. Participants can play on any tune at any time after the opening house band set. Designed for a more professional level of playing. The host band may call tunes, keys or tempos.
Pricing: $5
Where/When: Sudbury, Monday, July 4, 1 to 2:30 p.m. (rain or shine)
Why Go: Spectators are allowed to stand or sit anywhere along the parade route. The route begins at 2 Union Ave., the corner of Union and Route 20, and ends at Sudbury Town Hall.
What is so great about this parade is there really are no bad seats. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs, water bottles and sunscreen.
