Where/When: Museum of Fine Arts, 465 Huntington Ave., Boston, Saturday, March 19, 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Why Go: MFA Fiesta! is a month-long celebration of Latin American culture at the museum. Visitors can see works of art from Mexico, Central America and South America in the museum's Art of the Americas Wing, participate in activities and enjoy Latin food and drink.

Pricing: Children under 6, free. Children 7-17, free on weekends, weekdays after 3 p.m. and Boston Public Schools holidays, other times $7.50. Adults $20.

  • MUSIC TOGETHER FREE TRIAL CLASS

Where/When: New School of Music, 5 Lowell St., Cambridge, Saturday, March 19, 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Why Go: Music Together programs are designed to help young children enjoy music through vocalizing and rhythmic movment in a fun environment.

  • GWENDOLYN THE GRACEFUL PIG

Where/When: Waltham Public Library, 735 Main St., Waltham, Saturday, March 19 at 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy music, dancing, and a reading of David Rottenberg's "Gwendolyn the Graceful Pig." Members of the Mass Motion Dance Academy will perform a ballet as Rottenberg reads his book.

  • ST PATRICK'S DAY PARADE IN SOUTH BOSTON

Where/When: South Boston, Sunday, March 20 at 1 p.m.

Why Go: The parade begins at the Broadway T Station and ends at Andrew Square, South Boston. Your best bet for viewing the parade is to stake out a spotanywhere along Broadway.
