Video: Bringing Winter to the Weston Town Green

Even if Mother Nature won't provide the snow, the Weston Town Green will still be fully prepared for Winterfest on Jan. 26.

There isn't any rain in the forecast and it's certainly going to be cold enough to set the stage for the Weston300 Winterfest Saturday on the Weston Town Green.

Friday afternoon saw all the pieces coming into place for the town's festival, which was postponed from its original Jan. 12 date due to uncooperative weather.

The festivities begin at 10 a.m. and will continue throughout the day until 4 p.m. Ice sculpting demonstrations, ice skating exhibtions, open skating and ice hockey, marshmallow roasting, wagon rides and much more will take place on the town green today in celebration of Weston's 300th anniversary.
